Ocean's Desire at Sunset

Unharnessed power

dangerously beautiful

songs of sirens

beckon him

beguile him

with secret promises

resistance . . . impossible

such temptation

slowly moving forward

warm . . . safe . . . lovely

farther into the depth of her beauty

she strokes him

with long feathery fingers

closer . . . closer

at last he inhales

a magnificent watery breath

and then darkness.

Final oneness at last

he joins her.
